Dodgers Training Academy offers team training, skills classes, camps, clinics, and private lessons that focus on baseball and softball instruction. Athletes can take part in position-specific training and work one-on-one with a Dodgers Training Academy instructor. Programs range from single-day clinics to high-impact, multi-week training and year-round membership options, all within training spaces described as free from judgment where athletes can experiment, take risks, and push their limits.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
The program offers high-level baseball development through options that cover foundational skills, position-specific training in structured small-group settings, and competitive team training. Every instructor on staff has competed in collegiate or professional baseball and softball. The leadership group includes Alex Pinedo (Division 1, Program Manager, P), Scott Gracey (Affiliated Baseball, Program Manager, P, SS), Tony Liebsack (Division 1, Sr. Lead Instructor, 2B, SS), Ari Zagaris (Affiliated Baseball, Sr. Lead Instructor, P, 1B, RF), Isaac Pinedo (JUCO, Baseball Instructor, P, 1B), Chris Villa Vicencio (JUCO, Baseball Instructor, OF), Diego Alarcon (Division 1, Baseball Instructor, SS), and Nick Gotta (Division 2, Baseball Instructor, MIS). Coaching at every level follows the R.E.I. framework of Relationship, Environment, and Information, and the training environment is rooted in the Dodgers tradition of excellence.
Dodgers Training Academy states a mission to provide every youth baseball athlete in Los Angeles with access to professional instruction, mentorship, and a clear development pathway, with the goal of empowering them to reach their potential on the field and in life. The program is a proud youth baseball and softball training partner of Major League Baseball, in a long-term partnership that focuses on supporting existing local youth sports ecosystems and expanding access to high-quality baseball and softball instruction for players of all skill levels and socioeconomic backgrounds.
