East Bay Center for the Performing Arts – Music Programs

East Bay Center for the Performing Arts – Music Programs offers group classes in music, dance, and performance art. Group classes are described as fun and free, and families can choose from a wide selection of these music, dance, and performance art classes. The Center employs over 60 faculty members throughout its programs, and families are invited to attend a performance, observe a rehearsal, or check out the facility.

• Schedule: Business hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, with a registration desk open 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday through Friday and 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Saturday; instructional and rehearsal hours at the main site are 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM Monday through Friday and 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Saturday.

The program invites families to join its community of artists in Richmond, CA. The Center describes its approach as developing young artists and re-imagining the world, and notes that students train with rigor and passion under the wings of world-class artists in a safe, supportive atmosphere.
