PGA Junior Golf Camps at Richmond Golf Club focuses on golf skills including full swing, short game, putting, chipping, and pitching. Campers also work on course management, shot selection, and learn rules and etiquette, along with games and activities as part of the camp experience.

The PGA Junior Golf Camps at Richmond Golf Club are part of a golf enrichment program designed exclusively for the development of the junior golfer and welcome boys and girls of all athletic abilities, golf experience, and competitive desire. Half Day Camps are for beginner to intermediate golfers, while Full Day Camps are for intermediate to advanced golfers and include a focus on course management, shot selection, rules, and etiquette. Participants are grouped by experience, ability level, and age, with a low student-to-instructor ratio of approximately 6:1, and lunch is provided for both Half Day and Full Day Camps.
Camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA of America Golf Professionals and/or LPGA Teaching Professionals, and every junior golf camp instructor has been trained and tested in all aspects of the game by the PGA of America. All PGA Camps are directed by Certified PGA of America Professionals who have been certified in junior-specific instruction, techniques, and strategies. The leadership team includes Camp Director Jon Guntrum, PGA, and Co-Director Tom Zahradka, PGA, and Jon Guntrum’s recent accomplishments include being named the 2024 NCPGA Player Development Award winner. The program’s stated mission is to share a passion for the game of golf with youths across the country.
