About

The Little Gym Camps are part of The Little Gym, which offers camps that it describes as educational and fun. The Little Gym Camps take place in an environment that The Little Gym describes as fun with a serious purpose and are offered alongside its classes, parties, events, and Parent Survival Night.

• Ages: 4 months–12 years old

The Little Gym states that it is the place where children ages 4 months to 12 years learn and grow through movement-based learning and imaginative play. The Little Gym uses a proprietary philosophy called Three-Dimensional Learning, which includes Get Moving, Brain Boost, and Citizen Kid. Get Moving focuses on developing flexibility, strength, balance, and coordination through varied physical activities and gymnastics skills. Brain Boost focuses on nurturing listening skills, concentration, and decision-making. Citizen Kid focuses on promoting sharing, teamwork, cooperation, and leadership through spending time with friends and peers. Programs at The Little Gym are designed to get kids moving, boost their brainpower, and emphasize social and emotional learning. The Little Gym offers a Parent Survival Night that gives parents a break. The Little Gym was founded by Robin Wes, who opened the first The Little Gym in 1976 in Bellevue, Washington. One parent described the program as “A great well paced program,” and another parent shared, “We have a blast! My child is full of energy and they are patient with her, teaching her skills that help support her independence.”
