STEM Summer Camp includes hands-on workshops that feature AR/VR, 3D visualization, drone flying, Python programming, and data analytics. The program also includes a tour of the UC Riverside campus conducted by a CNAS Science Ambassador. Lunch is provided during the 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM break, and snacks and light refreshments such as water, orange juice, and granola bars are available.

• Ages: 14–18 years old
• Schedule: June 23–27, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day
• Price: There is no cost to attend the STEM Summer Camp sessions.

The STEM Summer Camp is led by UC Riverside experts, including Bahram Mobasher, Ph.D., the STEM Summer Camp Director, and Azin Mobasher, Ph.D., the STEM Summer Camp Co-Director. The leadership team also includes Richard L. Edwards, Ph.D., Executive Director for the Center for Teaching and Learning; Israel Fletes, Senior Director of Academic Innovations; Sohail Wasif, Creative Lead, Application & Multimedia Development; Nate Wildes, M.S., Interactive Instructional Media Manager; Sina Taamoli, Ph.D. Student and Python Programming Lead; and Laura Sales, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Data Analytics Lead. The program features small group sizes and personalized guidance. CNAS’s mission is to transform lives through discovery, communication, translation, application, and preservation of knowledge.

The Science Ambassadors are undergraduate students who represent UC Riverside to internal and external groups and act as student liaisons with the various communities that CNAS serves on and off campus, with a focus on recruiting events and activities. UCR tours will be held on Friday at 4:00 PM before the ceremony. Parking will be provided free of charge for registered participants in Lot 30.
