Cal Skate of Rohnert Park hosts the Rohnert Park Artistic Skating Club, North Coast Inline Racing, and North Bay Roller Derby, and serves as a birthday party and STEM Field Trip destination. Homeschool Skates are geared toward homeschoolers to network with other homeschool families but are open to everyone. Sensory Sensitive Skating sessions run without arcade games, flashing lights, or music, and during these sessions non-skating parents may walk on the skating floor and wheelchairs are welcome on the skating floor. Memorial Day Monday Kids Skate is the only session where parents or guardians are allowed to walk on the skating floor alongside their skating child, and parents and guardians may pay to skate with a child during this session.

Families can rent skates or bring their own, and no outside food or drink is allowed. Non-skating parents may also walk on the skating floor during Sensory Sensitive Skating, and a discount punch card is available by request where one admission equals one punch and five punches equal free admission on the next visit.

Cal Skate of Rohnert Park raises $36,000 annually for local non-profit organizations and schools through Skate & Donate Fundraisers, and offers discounted group rates for school groups, licensed day cares, and camps with reservations.
