Cross & Crown Preschool offers play-based activities that include exploration in mathematics, early literacy, social studies, science concepts, and creative play experiences. Children take part in activities that incorporate STEAM, using science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics as part of their learning. The program includes three different academic programs that are developmentally appropriate for children ranging from 2 years old to 5 years old.

Cross & Crown Preschool offers age-specific preschool programs for children ages 2–5, with a class size ratio of 12:1 in all programs. The Preschool program for ages 2–3 prepares children for Kindergarten, promotes social-emotional development, teaches children to learn how to take care of themselves and others, promotes language and cognitive skills, and includes activities that boost pre-math literacy skills and help develop motor skills. The Pre-Kindergarten program for age 4 offers emotional, social, and intellectual growth through integrated thematic instruction and exploration in mathematics, early literacy, social studies, and science concepts through creative play experiences, and prepares students for the requirements of Kindergarten. The Transitional Kindergarten program for age 5 offers a bridge between Preschool and Kindergarten, provides students with time to develop fundamental skills in an encouraging and nurturing environment, is designed around an age-appropriate curriculum that is customized for individual learners, and contains three components: developing and teaching the whole child, integrated and diverse activities, and social/emotional development.
Cross & Crown Preschool’s mission statement is: “We provide a nurturing environment where young learners can grow through play, exploration, and guided discovery.” The program serves families in Rohnert Park, California and surrounding areas. The leadership team includes Admin Office Kim Burns and Preschool Director Mandy McCarthy.
