Flying Frog Academy

Flying Frog Academy offers parkour and aerial silks. The program includes aerial silks classes through a team-up with Carolina Wolohan, as well as parkour competitions, private parkour lessons, and parties for ages 6 and up. Classes involve lots of movement with very little downtime, focusing on technique specifics plus games and activities, and physical skills are taught through progressive movements and the use of safety blocks and mats.

• Schedule: Front desk hours Monday–Friday 2:15 pm–6:30 pm and Saturday 9:45 am–12:45 pm

Flying Frog Academy describes itself as Sonoma County's premier parkour gym and a facility for parkour practitioners to train and for new practitioners to develop. The program offers free trial classes and summer camps that are open for early registration. Age groups listed for classes include 2.5–4 years, 4–5 years, 6–9 years, 10–13 years, 14–17 years, and 18+. Flying Frog Academy describes its community as a community of movers and a welcoming and positive, respectful environment where coaches and students encourage each other to embrace challenge, work hard, have fun, and enjoy the journey. Established in 2012, Flying Frog Academy states that its goal is to introduce “Better Living Through Movement” through non-traditional movement-based sports and to teach children and adults to move their bodies in new ways, gain confidence, become stronger, more coordinated, and more in touch with their bodies through parkour.
