Gracie Barra Kids (GBK) Program

The Gracie Barra Kids (GBK) Program introduces children to Jiu-Jitsu through classes that include self-defence, takedowns, and ground techniques. The program follows a structured curriculum that is part of Gracie Barra’s progressive Jiu-Jitsu training for students of different ages and skill levels. The GBK Program is offered at GB Rohnert Park, which is identified as a Premium School within the Gracie Barra organization.

• Ages: 4–12 years old
• Schedule: Class options are available during school hours and after school on weekdays, with additional Saturday morning options. School hours are Monday 12:00pm–1:00pm and 4:00pm–8:30pm; Tuesday 7:00am–8:00am and 3:15pm–8:30pm; Wednesday 12:00pm–1:00pm and 4:00pm–8:30pm; Thursday 7:00am–8:00am and 3:15pm–8:30pm; Friday 12:00pm–1:00pm and 5:00pm–7:30pm; and Saturday 9:00am–12:00pm.

Gracie Barra was founded in 1986 by Master Carlos Gracie Jr. Gracie Barra states that its mission is to teach “Jiu-Jitsu for Everyone.” Each certified instructor follows a teaching methodology rooted in safety, discipline, and respect, and Gracie Barra follows a structured global curriculum to support consistency and progress. The organization is supported by a network of related programs, including GB Online for video instruction and training resources.
