Spreckels Theatre Education Program (STEP) Summer Camp

Spreckels Theatre Education Program (STEP) Summer Camp is part of the Spreckels Theatre Education Program, which produces youth camps and classes, 2–3 junior shows each year, a winter/spring production in the Condiotti studio space, and a summer camp production on the Codding stage. The summer camp production takes place on the expansive Codding stage as one of the program’s specific activities for young performers.

The Spreckels Theatre Education Program (STEP) states that it strives to provide a professional educational experience for the young talent of Sonoma County. The broader organization that houses STEP was founded in 1990 and has been recognized as the most-awarded theatre company in the North Bay for more than a decade. It presents a dynamic season of musicals, plays, and original works, and produces bold, entertaining, and thought-provoking theatre that reflects the community’s diversity and creativity. The organization provides access to its facilities for presentations by local arts and civic organizations, showcases the talents of local artists and guest performers from across the region, and has served nearly half a million people from Sonoma, Napa, Marin, and Mendocino counties.
