Bujinkan Ryuuko Hikan Dojo offers training in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, including self-defense skills, rolling and falling safely, striking, receiving attacks, and grabs, escapes, and control methods. Classes also include sword, stick, and staff training, along with conditioning, flexibility, coordination, fitness, movement quality, and other traditional Japanese martial arts. Weapons training and weekend workshops and seminars may also be part of the program.

Bujinkan Ryuuko Hikan Dojo offers class groups for Ninja Cubs (ages 7–12), Teen Tigers (ages 13–17), and Adult Training (ages 18+). All students under 18 must have parent or guardian permission before participating. The dojo offers a free introductory class that must be scheduled in advance, and drop-ins are discouraged. The environment is described as family-friendly, with small class sizes and a small training community where students support each other’s growth. The dojo values respect, discipline, humility, safety, and care for training partners, and the environment is disciplined but supportive, allowing students to progress at their own pace.
Bujinkan Ryuuko Hikan Dojo is led by a licensed Bujinkan instructor with training in Japan and has over 35 years of martial arts instruction. Sensei Darren will personally contact prospective students or families. The stated goal of the program is to help students move better, build confidence, stay calm under pressure, and develop skills they can continue improving for life.
