Divergence Dance Conservatory offers dance classes that include ballet, tap, modern, jazz, and hip hop. The program includes instruction in dance terminology and human anatomy as part of classes taught by founding owner and artistic director Felicia Fry.

Felicia Fry, the founding owner and artistic director of Divergence Dance Conservatory, has over 25 years of experience in dance education and choreography. She trained for 15 years in the Cecchetti method under Jean Fulton, a Cecchetti Society board member, and earned a B.F.A. in Dance with an Emphasis in Performing from UC Irvine. She was a prominent member of Donald McKayle's Etude Ensemble and founded the Community Outreach Program for Bare Bones Dance Theatre. She won first place at the 2004 Gus Giordano Jazz Dance World Congress in Costa Rica (with Dave Massey) and completed intensive training with Cecchetti USA, Lou Conte Dance Studio, Alonzo King Lines Ballet, and the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance. She founded Anti-Gravity School of Dance in Roseville and later earned a Master of Fine Arts in Dance, Creative Practice at Saint Mary's College of California, where her studies included social justice, somatic dance practices, pedagogy, phenomenology, and performance studies, and culminated in a research paper on autistic embodiment and a production dedicated to neurodiversity. She has served as a board member of the Sacramento Area Dance Alliance, as a member of the Cecchetti USA National Committee, and as Board President for TwoPoint4 Dance Theatre, and she coached at the 2014 Cecchetti International Classical Ballet Competition in Richmond, Virginia. She holds a Licentiate and Essential Anatomy Teaching Certificate from Cecchetti USA and is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Personal Trainer.
