RTAA Summer Theatre Camps

RTAA Summer Theatre Camps offer students a musical theatre experience that includes voice, movement, improv, musical training, speaking roles, songs, dance routines, and behind the scene production activities. Each camp ends with a performance, and each student has a speaking role, takes part in multiple songs and dance routines, and participates in behind the scene production activities. Campers are responsible for some minor self-costuming for the show, and the program recommends using items already at home, with no need to purchase costume pieces unless families choose to.

• Ages: 7–15 years old (students must be able to read)
• Schedule: Six one-week summer camps throughout June and July 2026; Monday–Friday, 9:00am–3:00pm (performance dates and times vary)
• Price: Camp fee $400.00; tickets for performances $8; $20 service fee for all refunds before the first day of camp; prorated refund available if staff is notified by 11:59pm of the first day, with no refunds after the first class; multi-camp discounts available

The program follows a pink slip (written warning) policy in which a student who receives three pink slips may be asked to leave the camp without a refund. The box office opens 45 minutes before each showtime for in-person ticket sales, and the RTAA Box Office is available by phone Tuesday through Friday from 12:00pm–4:00pm. Roseville Theatre Arts Academy is described as an award-winning children's theatre that reaches out to children in Roseville, Rocklin, and surrounding areas to participate in live theatre and musical theatre productions. RTAA states that its mission is to build character in the students it teaches, to see the potential in every student regardless of race, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, political affiliation, age, or disability, and to help students grow through music, dance, theatre, teamwork, and friendship.
