Precision Dance Center

Precision Dance Center offers dance classes in tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, technique, hip hop, acro, musical theater, and modern. Dancers can also take part in competitions, performances, monthly acro workshops, and a Side Aerial workshop.

• Ages: 2–18 years old
• Schedule: Monthly Acro Workshops each run 90 minutes; the next Acro Workshop is March 21st, with future workshops on April 18th and May 23rd

Precision Dance Center welcomes dancers age two to adults at beginning through advanced levels and offers both competition and recreational classes to all ages. Monthly Acro Workshops are led by Ms. Chanelle, with Acro 1 focusing on cartwheels, handstands, bridging, and basic floor tricks, and Acro 2 for dancers with a solid cartwheel and unassisted bridge who are ready for more challenging variations and combinations. The Side Aerial workshop is for dancers who already have consistent one-handed cartwheels and want to master this skill. Precision Dance Center recognizes dancers of the month who show outstanding dedication, hard work, and passion for dance, and the program promotes confidence and self-esteem through positive performance opportunities and family-oriented entertainment with a more conservative approach to dance and tasteful choreography, costumes, and music.

Precision Dance Center teachers have many years of experience teaching dance, a strong commitment to teaching excellence, and foster a positive and encouraging learning environment while demonstrating passion and dedication in their areas of expertise. The studio is currently celebrating its 15th anniversary season and is hiring experienced and passionate dance instructors with strong backgrounds in acro, contemporary, hip hop, ballet, jazz, lyrical, musical theater, and tap. Precision Dance Center offers a free trial class. The program’s mission is to provide dancers of all ages and abilities a supportive and encouraging environment, deliver high-quality dance training, nurture each student’s unique talent and creativity, encourage students to achieve their fullest potential, and help them develop into respectful, well-rounded individuals while promoting confidence and self-esteem and providing family-oriented entertainment.

Precision Dance Center has performed during the Sacramento Kings halftime show at Golden 1 Center. One parent shared that “Precision Dance Center provides a positive learning environment for its students. The teachers are great and the students are challenged, but without undue pressure. I wouldn’t dance anywhere else!”
