Precision Dance Center

Precision Dance Center offers Jazz & Tumble, Tap/Ballet Combo, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Jazz/Hip Hop, Ballet, Pre-Pointe & Pointe, Progressing Ballet Technique, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Musical Theater. The studio also offers competition and recreational classes, with class sizes limited.

Programs

• Jazz & Tumble — 2-4 yr · 45-minute class; explores jazz and basic gymnastic skills.
• Tap/Ballet Combo — 4-6 yr · Introductory class for beginning dancers; 30 minutes of tap plus 30 minutes of jazz/ballet.
• Tap — 4 & up
• Jazz — 4 & up
• Hip Hop — 4 & up
• Jazz/Hip Hop — 4-6, 6-7, and 8-12 · Fun combination of jazz and hip hop dance styles.
• Ballet — all ages
• Pre-Pointe & Pointe — Advanced extension of ballet; promotion to Pre-Pointe and Pointe shoes is at the discretion of the instructor.
• Progressing Ballet Technique — 9 and up · Offered in Levels 1 and 2.
• Lyrical — 4 & up
• Contemporary — 7 & up · Designed for students with previous training in ballet.
• Musical Theater — 7 & up · Includes dance movement, musicality, singing, and acting.

About the provider

The studio states it is celebrating its 15th anniversary season. It performed during the Sacramento Kings halftime show at Golden 1 Center. Its mission is to provide dancers of all ages and abilities a supportive and encouraging environment, deliver high-quality dance training, nurture each student’s unique gift of talent and creativity, and encourage students to achieve their fullest potential and develop into respectful, well-rounded individuals.

The studio offers both competition and recreational classes to all ages. It states it provides family-oriented entertainment with a more conservative approach to dance, tasteful choreography, costumes, and music. Class sizes are limited. Enrollment cannot be paused.
