East Sacramento Youth Soccer Club offers soccer for children and youth, including both recreational and competitive programs. The program includes competitive tryouts for players who want to join one of the club’s competitive teams.

The East Sacramento Youth Soccer Club states that its mission is to make the neighborhood a better place for children and youth who master and enjoy playing soccer while learning physical and social development life skills. The club includes six competitive boys and girls teams, and one of its teams, East Sac Arsenal 2011 Boys, has won State Cup. Families are asked to contact the club if they live in or around the East Sacramento area and are interested in having their child play soccer. Sacramento fields used by the club are subject to closure due to rain, and when the Air Quality Index is 130 (unhealthy) or temperatures reach 103 degrees, all games and practices will be canceled. Families can contact the Field Status Line at (916) 808-2336 three hours before scheduled field use to find out if fields have been closed.
