Planet Gymnastics offers gymnastics and Ninja classes in a recreational gymnastics center. Programs include Tiny Tumblers, Gym Stars, K Stars, Girls gymnastics, Boys gymnastics, and No Limits: Adaptive Gymnastics. Families can also schedule a trial class to experience the program.
• Ages: 0–18 years old
• Schedule: Families are asked to check the Ninja and Gymnastics schedule for updated classes and times; Tiny Tumblers classes are 50 minutes and Gym Stars classes are 55 minutes.
Gymnastics at Planet Gymnastics is described as stimulating a love for learning, with an emphasis on making learning fun. The program states that children can feel comfortable trying new things, are encouraged to learn, and can make mistakes or fall without being laughed at or embarrassed. The gym describes failure as an essential part of learning and living. As a recreational gymnastics center, Planet Gymnastics offers non-competitive programs and removes competition within the facility. The program focuses on individual performance and states that it builds self-confidence and motivation by creating challenges every child can accomplish.
Planet Gymnastics offers children of all skill levels the opportunity to increase balance, strength, flexibility, coordination, spatial awareness, and fitness activity. Each child is challenged individually, with yearly lesson plans and skill sheets used to track progress. Regular evaluations of a student's progress, including bi-monthly skill evaluations, allow gymnasts to advance to the next level at their own pace as they master required skills.
No Limits: Adaptive Gymnastics offers a supportive, fun space for children with diverse physical, developmental, or intellectual needs. The No Limits program focuses on building confidence, coordination, and strength through free exploration, individual progress on events, and lower ratios.
Toddlers in Tiny Tumblers participate with a parent or caregiver in a playful class setting. Only one parent or caregiver is allowed on the floor at a time for Tiny Tumblers classes.
