Gymnastics at Planet Gymnastics is described as stimulating a love for learning, with an emphasis on making learning fun. The program states that children can feel comfortable trying new things, are encouraged to learn, and can make mistakes or fall without being laughed at or embarrassed. The gym describes failure as an essential part of learning and living, and its programs encourage children to be brave and explore their physical abilities. As a recreational gymnastics center, the programs are non-competitive and focus on individual performance rather than competition, with the stated goal of building self-confidence and motivation by creating challenges every child can accomplish.

Planet Gymnastics offers programs for preschool and kinder ages 3.5 to 6, including Tiny Tumblers for children from crawling up to 3.5 years with a parent or caregiver, Gym Stars for ages 3.5 up to 4.5 years without parents, and K Stars for ages 4.5 up to 6 years. Girls and Boys gymnastics classes are offered for ages 6 and up, with bi-monthly skill evaluations for advancement in the Girls/Boys programs. The No Limits: Adaptive Gymnastics program serves children with diverse physical, developmental, or intellectual needs and uses lower ratios. Across programs, the gym uses yearly lesson plans and skill sheets to track progress and emphasizes developing balance, strength, flexibility, coordination, spatial awareness, and fitness. Only one parent or caregiver is allowed on the floor at a time.
