Sacramento United Soccer Club offers a year-round youth soccer program that includes supplemental soccer camps, training camps, and common training sessions. Players take part in skills training focused on dribbling, shooting, and defending, as well as intra-club friendly games and joint training sessions. The program also includes a Friday Night Development Program, a GoalKeeper Academy, and participation in local, regional, and national tournaments.

Founded in 1977, Sacramento United Soccer Club runs a competitive program that serves over 50 teams and 1,200 players annually. The club offers U8–U14 Tryouts, U15–U19 Tryouts, and a Player Development Program with NorCal Premier, along with weekly strength and conditioning sessions for older competitive teams during the spring and fall seasons. Teams compete in leagues such as Girls Academy League, MLS NEXT, and NorCal Premier, and the club hosts a Winter Cup for U8–U11 boys and girls in late winter. The club uses Nike uniform kits for boys and girls, which are not covered by the club.

Sacramento United Soccer Club has experienced and licensed soccer coaches and provides an Individualized Player Development plan for each player. All players and teams take part in a club-wide training and coaching program that includes common training sessions and training camps, and futsal is an integrated part of the training curriculum for U8–U15 teams on a hardwood futsal court. Families have access to the BYGA mobile app for schedules, rosters, team chat, instant messaging, and RSVPs, as well as full access to team matches captured through VEO with high-quality video. The club offers a Financial Assistance Program for those that qualify (Ofrecemos Ayuda Financiera para familias que califican) and provides access to a Club Store, Admin Login, Coaches Login, Team Managers Login, BYGA Login, SE Login, and a newsletter sign-up for updates.

Since 1977, Sacramento United Soccer Club has stated a mission of creating a family-friendly environment while nurturing players’ technical, tactical, physical, and psychological growth to help them achieve their utmost potential. The club’s stated goals for its training and coaching programs are to build character and instill positive values in players through hard work, responsibility, mutual respect, and teamwork, and to instill in players a lifelong love and understanding of the game of soccer. The club develops relations with recreational clubs and encourages player and parental involvement in the planning, organization, and administration of the program, and it lists Proud Sacramento United Partners. Sacramento United Soccer Club is designated as a Players 1st Club by US Club Soccer and has acceptance and active participation in the national league’s Girls Academy and MLS NEXT, including a Girls Academy League (GA) program for the 2025–26 season for U13–U19 and an MLS NEXT Homegrown pathway for U13–U19 with Homegrown and Academy platforms, plus a new MLS NEXT Academy platform for the 2025–26 season.

The club is co-led and managed by former Costa Rican International Reymond Harris and by Juan Fresquez. The leadership team includes Club President Albert Regalado, Vice President Brent Sasaki, Director Of Managers Ellen Martin, Administrative Support and Volunteer Coordinator Rosa Paragas, Club Registrar Danielle Dominguez, Director Of Membership Anthony Esparza, Director Of Finance Gustavo Vega, Event Coordinator Preet Kandola, and Equipment Manager Brookes Hewell.
