About the provider
The club was founded in 1977. Sacramento United says it is committed to a family-friendly environment and to the holistic development of players, and it says its goals include building character and instilling positive values through hard work, responsibility, mutual respect, and teamwork. It also says it develops players who excel at collegiate and professional stages and takes part in Girls Academy and MLS Next.
The club says it provides a club-wide training and coaching program where all players and teams learn from all the coaches in common training sessions and training camps. It also says coaches work in close coordination with each other to deliver a shared philosophy of the game and the systems to play it.
