He is a certified personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), certified in Functional Movement Screening (FMS), and a Level 1 athletic performance coach with the Athletes Performance Center (EXXOS) in Phoenix. Sensei Christina Hinschberger is the co-owner, is a 6th-degree black belt with the IKCF and a 6th-degree black belt with the ISKF, has been practicing Shotokan karate for over 35 years, was part of the International Shotokan Karate Federation national team representing the United States in various international tournaments, and has been teaching Shotokan karate since she was 16 years old. She is a California Multiple Subject Credentialed teacher, a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and a Certified Yoga Instructor through Yoga Alliance. Sensei Christina and Sensei Marcus Hinschberger are described as Sacramento’s Karate Power Couple and World Class Karate Instructors in Natomas Sacramento. Sempai Maryann Salvador is a 4th-degree black belt with the ISKF and a 4th-degree black belt with the IKCF.
