Summer at the Y includes day camps, swim lessons, sports, swimming, games, campfires, and hiking. The program also includes Summer at the Y day camp and Bear Valley Overnight Camp.

Bear Valley YMCA Camp is offering over 80 years of summer adventure, friendship, and exploration in the High Sierra. The YMCA of Superior California lists Summer at the Y as part of its focus on Healthy Living, Youth Development, and Social Responsibility. The YMCA states its mission as “Inspire all to a healthy life - in spirit, mind and body.” The YMCA of Superior California is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit social services organization dedicated to Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. District Paid Programs are free for specified students or children in certain districts, including Leataata Floyd, EPIC, Bridgeway, Southport, West Sac Kinder Readiness, and Woodland Kinder Readiness. Financial aid is available through the Y-Assist Scholarship program. The YMCA emphasizes the values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. The YMCA is dedicated to giving back and strengthening communities, including hosting a swim event with Acadia for families navigating Rett syndrome and providing programs that offer summer meals for kids, free childcare for parents in court, and falls prevention for seniors.
