Extreme Team Martial Arts Association offers Karate, JuJitsu, combined Karate/JuJitsu, and self defense classes. Karate and JuJitsu classes vary by week, and Karate/JuJitsu is a full contact sport. The program is described as a place where children can learn self defense and stay active, with a required minimum age of 4 years old.
• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Weekly Karate/JuJitsu class options on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm
• Price: Adult Karate $40/month and Adult JuJitsu $40/month (adult classes 7:00 pm–8:00 pm); Children’s Karate $40/month and Children’s JuJitsu $40/month (kids train 6:00 pm–7:00 pm)
The stated goals of the school are to teach the art of self defense, to keep kids off the streets, and to help people stay in shape. Lead instructors are Sr. Professor Gerald McKenzie 10th Dan, Professor Charlie Zarza 8th Dan, Sensei Albert Rocamora 3rd Dan, Sensei Rene Parra 3rd Dan, Sensei Jessica Covarrubias - Castillo 5th Dan (Upland location), Sensei Jeremy Castillo 3rd Dan (Upland location), Sensei Al Igama 1st Dan (TBD), and Sensei Tommy Cervania 1st Dan.
