ABC Academy Preschool

ABC Academy Preschool includes weekly study units, small group activities, circle time, and play-based learning. The program follows a well-structured academic program within a dynamic learning environment. Families receive a monthly newsletter with information about Units of Study, the Hot Lunch Menu, the Share Day Calendar, and more.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm; daily tours available Monday–Friday, 11:15am–11:45am

ABC Academy Preschool was established in 1980. ABC Academy was founded by Carolyn Handelin, who is the owner and operator, and her daughter Lauren Shaw now serves as the Director and Co-Owner. The staff consists of six teachers, and the child-to-teacher ratio is 5:1. Teachers are CPR and first aid certified, are background checked, and possess ECE units. ABC Academy Preschool states that it is dedicated to the highest quality of child care and that it nurtures each child's development with a combination of academics, motor skill development, and social interaction, incorporating every opportunity to enhance the child's educational and personal growth. Daily tours are available by call or email scheduling.
