Art Abloom

Art Abloom offers drawing, painting, printmaking, clay, sewing, sculpture, collage, and found object assemblage. The program also hosts parties for adults and children, art walks, and monthly art discussions.

• Ages: 0–18 years old
• Schedule: Spring Break program from April 6–9, 10:00am–2:00pm; summer options June 15–August 20, Monday–Thursday between 10:00am–2:00pm; mixed-age and toddler classes available on weekdays and Saturdays during the spring

Art Abloom takes place at Art Abloom Studio & Gallery. Gabriella Spina Drake founded Art Abloom in Santa Barbara in 1990, and in 2002 the program relocated to San Anselmo. Art Abloom describes itself as Marin's Premier Art Studio for toddlers to adults and states that it specializes in offering a full spectrum art experience in a creative, nurturing, stimulating, and non-competitive environment. According to its mission statement, Art Abloom holds that all beings are born creative, focuses on empowering natural creativity, and emphasizes group or private classes that focus on process. The mission statement also notes that student artists ranging from toddlers to adults use a wide range of media and that parties, art walks, and monthly art discussions are part of the program.
