Nature Playgroup

Nature Playgroup is a gentle, outdoor child-caregiver nature class for 2-3 year olds. Designed especially for toddlers and their grown-ups, this 30-minute class offers a calm, playful introduction to learning in nature.

​Together, children and their caregivers will explore the natural world through sensory play, simple nature walks, songs, movement, and hands-on discovery. Activities are child-led and developmentally appropriate, allowing toddlers to explore at their own pace while caregivers provide comfort, support, and connection.

​This class emphasizes:

• Curiosity and wonder in nature
• Gross motor movement and sensory exploration
• Early language development
• Social connection in a small, supportive group
• Strengthening the child-caregiver bond

​Caregivers attend alongside their child and are encouraged to observe, participate gently, and follow their child's interests. No prior experience is needed - just comfortable clothes, curiosity, and a willingness to get a little messy.
