Marin Community Music School offers chances for students to study music, play music, and perform music. The program includes music instruction, coaching, ensemble experiences, and performance opportunities, and it also offers solo piano music.

Opened in 2009, Marin Community Music School has been sharing music for over 15 years. Its mission is to provide music instruction, coaching, ensemble, and performance opportunities for community members of all ages and musical interests on a first-come, first-served basis, without regard to means, income, or any otherwise limiting factor. The leadership team includes Harry Macey, John Mackay, and Zander Silverstein. The school has welcomed 1,153 students from 870 households and has provided more than 22,235 hours of instruction and coaching. Its students range in age from 7 to 85. As a non-profit charitable resource, it relies on supporters in Marin and beyond for the development of its programs and to assist students in need, and supporters have provided $300,539 to date. Marin Community Music School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin, and does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, or national origin in its educational, admission, and financial aid policies or programs.
