Swim Lessons includes swim lessons along with aqua classes for adults and lap swim. The program takes place at the Sleepy Hollow Pool, which is the home of the Sea Lions Swim Team.
The program is part of the Sleepy Hollow Homes Association (SHHA), a volunteer organization founded in 1946 to advocate for and bring together the Sleepy Hollow community. The pool is operated under the leadership of Pool lead Diane Fiddyment, Sleepy Hollow Swim Team lead Anne-Marie Kostecki, and Board President David Baker. SHHA is involved in community advocacy with the County, the Sleepy Hollow Fire District, and other agencies and jurisdictions, and hosts Scouts, serves as a polling place, and is used for civic meetings, family gatherings, and community events. The Sleepy Hollow Community Center also operates during power outages and is open to all.
