The Image Flow Photography Workshops offers classes and workshops that include Photography Basics, Portrait Photography, Night Photography Workshop, Nature & Wildlife Photography, Beyond the Basics, and a Personal Project Workshop. The program also offers an Encaustics Workshop, Adobe Lightroom Classic, custom photo printing, scanning and archiving, public exhibitions, free lectures, rentals, and imaging services.

• Schedule: Photography workshops and classes are scheduled on specific dates and times, including weekday and weekend options, with the studio open Monday–Friday from 10 AM–6 PM.

In 2008, Stuart Schwartz founded The Image Flow. The leadership team includes Stuart Schwartz (Founder & Educator), Nathan Lomas (Educator, Gallery & Production Manager), Dean Lipoff (Production & Imaging Associate), Anelisa Nichols (Front Desk & Digital Media Manager), and Jarod Denmark (Graphic Designer, Client Services). Stuart Schwartz graduated from the Art Center in 1979 and spent 35 years as an advertising photographer in the U.S. and Europe. Nathan Lomas has a BFA from the College of Creative Studies in Detroit and an MFA in Imaging Arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York, is an adjunct professor at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, and owns a photo studio in Alameda specializing in 19th-century tintype photography. Dean Lipoff is a Brooks Institute graduate and has been photographing and retouching images for over 30 years. Anelisa received a B.A. in Communications and Media as well as Cinematic Arts and Technology from Sonoma State University. Jarod Denmark earned his BFA in Art Studio and Art History from San Francisco State University.

The Image Flow’s mission is to celebrate photography in all its forms and to provide a platform for photographers of all levels to create work, exchange ideas, and innovate the medium of photography. The program offers photography classes and workshops for adults and kids in Marin County and the San Francisco Bay Area, along with an Online Workshop Login. The gallery space exhibits work from domestic and international artists and includes a Photo of the Month Exhibition. The program offers custom printing with exhibition quality printing that is expertly prepared, a wide selection of archival professional papers, and a collaborative process between artist and printmaker. The Image Flow remains committed to making photography accessible to the community by providing public exhibitions, free lectures, workshops, rentals, and imaging services.
