City Ballet Summer Dance Camps

City Ballet Summer Dance Camps include ballet technique, creative dance, turns and allegro, jazz, pointe and pre-pointe, variations, contemporary, ballet crafts, stage make-up, and other dance-related activities. The program offers two 2-week sessions in 2026, with classes grouped by level from Pre/Kinder Ballet through Pre-Professional Ballet 6 & Studio Company. Open House times are scheduled on selected days during each session so parents and family members can observe during the final hour and see what students are learning in camp.

• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Two 2-week sessions from June 15–26 and June 29–July 10, 2026, with class options Monday through Friday and some Tuesday/Thursday schedules, mornings, mid-day, and late afternoons depending on level
• Price: Session tuition ranges from $170–$360 per session depending on level, with “Both Sessions” options from $300–$600, a required non-refundable 25% deposit or full payment, balance due by the first day of the session, a 10% Earlybird Discount for tuition paid in full by June 1st, and available family discounts

City Ballet Summer Dance Camps are led by Managing Director Jo Anne Emery, Artistic Director Steven Wistrich, and City Ballet School Registrar Cathleen Penyak. City Ballet of San Diego adheres to San Diego County’s Health and Human Services Agency health and safety protocols. Choreography by George Balanchine is copyrighted by The George Balanchine Trust, and “City Ballet of San Diego” and the block letter logo are copyright trademarks of City Ballet, Inc. A dress code is required, space is limited with enrollment on a first-come, first-served basis, and registration forms with tuition payment in full must be received before the first class, either by mailing a check for the non-refundable 25% deposit or full tuition or by calling to pay with Visa or Mastercard.
