City Ballet Summer Dance Camps

City Ballet Summer Dance Camps include ballet technique, creative dance, turns and allegro, jazz, pointe, pre-pointe, variations, contemporary, ballet crafts, stage make-up, and other dance-related activities. The program offers workshops for levels Pre/K through Ballet 3 that may include ballet crafts, stage make-up, and other dance-related activities. There will be an Open House on selected days during each session for all levels, and parents and family members are welcome to come in for the final hour on selected days to observe and see what the students are learning in camp.

• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Two 2-week sessions from June 15–26, 2026 (no classes Friday June 19, Juneteenth) and June 29–July 10, 2026, with class options Monday through Friday and some Tuesday/Thursday schedules
• Price: Pre/Kinder Ballet $170–$300, Ballet 1–3 $210–$400, Ballet 4 $290–$510, Ballet 5 and Pre-Professional Ballet 6 & Studio Company $325–$600, with a non-refundable 25% deposit required, balance due by the first day, a 10% Earlybird Discount for tuition paid in full by June 1st, and family discounts available

The program has a required dress code for Summer Dance Camps, and a limited number of students may be enrolled, with space filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration requires a Registration Form and tuition payment in full to be received before the first class, and families may mail a non-refundable 25% deposit or full payment by check or call during listed business hours to pay with Visa or Mastercard. Students currently enrolled at City Ballet School receive email registration invitations in late March. City Ballet of San Diego adheres to San Diego County’s Health and Human Services Agency health and safety protocols. The leadership team includes Managing Director Jo Anne Emery, Artistic Director Steven Wistrich, and City Ballet School Registrar Cathleen Penyak.
