Elevo Programs is led by co-founders Nick and Chris. Coaches are described as well-trained, caring, consistent adults who lead structured, inclusive activities on the schoolyard. All Elevo Programs are WASC-accredited, and activities are informed by state standards in language arts, mathematics, science, and physical education, as well as California’s Expanded Learning Opportunities standards. The curriculum is evidence-based, built on a whole child framework, and leverages the Science of Learning and Development, with programming that systematically strengthens 12 core assets of emotional intelligence through movement and is infused with social-emotional learning principles. Programs are developmentally appropriate, tailored for multiple grade levels, and include sports rotations that are structured for students regardless of prior experience, with field trip opportunities available upon request.

Elevo’s mission is to transform student well-being so kids are better equipped to learn in the classroom. The organization serves part of California’s 3.25 million K–6 students across 7,115 schools and reports serving more than 900 schools, including district partners such as Chino Valley Unified, Santa Maria Bonita School District, Corona Norco Unified, San Jose Unified, Lake Elsinore Unified, Lawndale Elementary, and Palmdale Elementary. Testimonials from districts and parents highlight consistency and preparation of coaches, on-time and organized staffing, frequent check-ins and use of site feedback, rapid response times to concerns, and on-site manager support. One middle school parent notes that the Elevo program at Wells Middle School made it possible to work an hour away and still pick up a child without rushing through traffic, and describes the program as providing care and love when it was really needed.
