About
Kids Martial Arts introduces children to kids' Jiu Jitsu classes and Mighty Mites classes as part of the training. The program is part of a broader set of activities that also includes Adult Jiu Jitsu, Women’s Jiu Jitsu, and adult classes. A Beginner 60 Day Fast Pass is available, and no experience is needed to start.

Kids Martial Arts takes place in a spacious gym that is clean and well lit. The program is led by a team that includes Professor Tio, Professor Mike, Coach Jonas, Coach Lem, Paulette, Mike, Michael, and Coach Len. Paulette is a female black belt instructor and is described as being closely involved with the kids program. North Park Jiu Jitsu Academy and North Park BJJ are described as having a strong sense of community, being like a family, and offering a great family environment for kids classes, women’s classes, and beginners. Parents describe the environment for kids as safe, structured, and encouraging, with kids from the next level up sometimes helping in Mighty Mites classes and offering peer-to-peer feedback and coaching. Multiple parents report that their children enjoy the classes, look forward to attending, and that some families have both kids and adults training at the same time in the adult classes.
