Rising Star Preschool states its mission as “Helping children reach their full potential.” The program uses blended curriculums that include STEAM, The Creative Curriculum®, and The Kindness Curriculum, with a social-emotional focus and curriculum that prepares children for kindergarten. It offers an outdoor science center and kitchen for messy play and has a farm partner that brings goats, horses, and other farm animals to school. Rising Star Preschool participates in CACFP and provides an on-site preschool chef, with healthy breakfast, lunch, and snack included as a complimentary part of the preschool experience. The program participates in CACFP to support nutritious meals.

The program uses hygiene stations on arrival, strict COVID-safe measures such as temperature checks, parents not entering the building, small classroom sizes, intensive cleaning and sanitizing, and commercial professionals disinfecting after hours. It uses a ZONO eco-friendly sanitizing system to disinfect toys, books, and materials without harsh chemicals and has cameras and new parent drop-off and pick-up routines. Rising Star Preschool offers daily updates through a parent app with reports, pictures, and videos, and provides parent participation options through potlucks, monthly meetings, and volunteer opportunities. The program has a dedicated space for speech and occupational therapies and offers weekly visits from a music specialist with congas, flutes, and cymbals. Baby signing and Spanish are included in the program, and there is support for families who qualify for subsidy programs and in-house funding. Families can schedule a tour, and there is no registration fee when joining by December 30.
