About
San Diego Sol Youth Camps focus on youth basketball skills development through a mix of skill development stations, basketball games, and games/scrimmages. Campers take part in the breakdown of basic offense skills, basic defense skills, and team skills as part of the daily camp activities. A sample day includes camper check-in and arrival, stretch and dynamic warmup, skill development/stations, games/scrimmages, lunch, and an afternoon repeat of warmup, skill work, and games/scrimmages, ending with pick up at 3:30pm.
• Ages: 6–14 years old
• Schedule: Daily hours 9am–3:30pm, with 2026 Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall camps on specific dates from January through December; extended care available 3:30pm–4:00pm
• Price: January 19: Full Day $75 General/$60 Sol Player; Half Day $45 General/$40 Sol Player. February 17–20: Full Day $340 General/$290 Sol Player; Half Day $215 General/$185 Sol Player. April 6–10, June 8–12, June 15–19, July 6–10, July 27–31, August 3–7: Full Day $450 General/$375 Sol Player; Half Day $290 General/$240 Sol Player. July 13–16 and July 20–23 (4-day camps): Full Day $360 General/$300 Sol Player; Half Day $230 General/$190 Sol Player. San Diego Sol Youth Camps are open to boys and girls ages 6–14, and campers receive a Sol T-shirt. The program uses coaches from local high schools and colleges, and the camp director is Spatticus Harris (Coach Harris), Camps and Clinics Director. Coach Harris is a full-time coach for San Diego Sol with over 20 years of experience coaching camps, clinics, and teams, has coached at San Diego Christian College, and is the assistant coach at Cathedral Catholic High School, which won the 2019 CIF Open Division. He played on the inaugural San Diego Sol Men’s Professional ABA team that won the 2011 Southern California Division Championship, and he previously played four years at San Diego Christian College, leading the Hawks to two NCCAA National Championships, earning 1st team All-American honors, and graduating with a degree in Kinesiology. Campers are asked to bring snacks and plenty of liquids, and full day campers need to bring their own lunch, with vending machines available for drinks and snacks if needed. Families can use Live Barn to watch camp from anywhere, and a Sol player is defined as a player who plays on a Sol team and wears a Sol uniform.
