San Diego Sol Youth Camps are led by Camp Director Spatticus Harris, who is the Camps and Clinics Director for San Diego Sol. The coaching staff includes coaches from local high schools and colleges who bring basketball experience. Coach Harris is a full-time coach for San Diego Sol, has over 20 years of experience coaching camps, clinics, and teams, has coached at San Diego Christian College, and is the assistant coach at Cathedral Catholic High School, which won the 2019 CIF Open Division. He played on the inaugural San Diego Sol Men’s Professional ABA team that won the 2011 Southern California Division Championship, is originally from Toronto, Canada, attended San Diego Christian College, played all four years there, led the Hawks to two National Championships (NCCAA), earned 1st team All-American honors, and graduated with a degree in Kinesiology.

The camps are described as being designed to develop and improve youth basketball skills, with a focus that includes basketball games and the breakdown of basic offense, defense, and team skills needed to develop a solid basketball game. The program states that it takes pride in providing an excellent coaching staff using coaches from local high schools and colleges, and that with a promise to deliver the best teaching of basketball fundamentals, a child is guaranteed to have a great time and become a better basketball player.
