San Diego Surf School

San Diego Surf School offers surf lessons, including private, group, and semi-private surf lessons, as well as kids surf camps and surf camps throughout the year. The program also offers boogie board surf camp, boogie boarding, paddle boarding lessons (SUP), SUP lessons, surf photography, and an after school program. Surfboard and wetsuit rentals, boogie board rentals, and wetsuit rentals are available, and surf gear, including surfboards, boogie boards, and wetsuits, is included for lessons and camps.

• Schedule: Open daily Sunday through Saturday from 9am–5pm, with multiple-day and single-day options for seasonal surf camps, boogie board surf camps, and adult surf retreats offered on various weekday and weekend combinations throughout the year

San Diego Surf School was founded by Souf Tihhi, who founded San Diego Surfing School in 2000 and has 25 years of surfing experience. Instructors are described as CPR certified and water safety, first aid, and CPR certified, and the program is licensed and permitted by the city of San Diego. The mission states that San Diego Surf School introduces surfers of all ages and levels to the sport and spirit of surfing in an energetic and positive environment and aims to provide a safe, exceptional, first-rate surf experience while showing clients the Southern California lifestyle.
