Songbirds Music offers interactive music and movement classes that include singing, dancing, rhythmic and tonal play, instrument play, lap songs, lullabies, rhythm chants, movement activities, and full-on jam sessions. Families and children take part in family-style classes where infants, toddlers, and preschoolers participate together, and the program is available in both Spanish and English. Songbirds Music is not formal instrument instruction but focuses on building a foundation for a lifetime of music-making through play-based, highly engaging programs.

Songbirds Music offers interactive early childhood music programs for ages 0–5, including a Music Together Babies Class for infants under nine months old, Music Together Mixed-Age Classes for ages 0–5, and the Canta y Baila Conmigo program for ages 0–6 that provides a culturally rich Spanish language and music experience with weekly classes taught by a native Spanish speaker. Songbirds Music is led by Diana Davidson (Owner / Head Mama Bird), who is an early childhood music specialist and teacher known as Ms. Diana, and by teacher Melissa. Ms. Diana holds an M.Ed. from the University of Virginia in Curriculum and Instructional Design, a BA from UCLA in World Arts and Cultures, and a BLCAD teaching credential, and she worked as a bilingual and Spanish Immersion elementary school teacher for more than 10 years in San Diego, Salinas, and Arlington, VA. She completed the Music Together Teaching Workshop in 2007, earned Music Together Certification Level 1 in 2013, is a certified Canta y Baila Conmigo Master teacher, and is CPR and First Aid certified. Melissa studied urban planning, psychology, and Italian at UCSD, completed the Music Together teacher training in fall 2017, and apprenticed with Ms. Diana during the Fall 2018 and Winter 2019 Music Together Sessions.
