French Summer Camps at Alliance Française de San Diego are led entirely in French and guided by expert and passionate teachers. Campers explore the language and culture through games, arts and crafts, cooking, interactive activities, language activities, and creative projects. Each week is independent, and there is an option to join per day.
• Ages: 5–17 years old
• Schedule: Running from June 1 to August 28, with independent weekly sessions and extended care available until 2 PM
• Price: Extended Care per day $30.00 USD
The camps run from 9 AM to 12 PM, with extended care available until 2 PM. The program is available for all levels, from those new to French to native French speakers, with a minimum age of 4 years and 10 months at the start of the camp. Before coming, families are asked to check on Google hours to confirm that the organization is open.
Alliance Française is a global organization connected by a network of local chapters that have promoted French language and Francophone cultures since 1883. Founded in 1927, Alliance Française San Diego is one of the oldest chapters in the United States. Alliance Française San Diego is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization incorporated in the State of California and is certified as a Heritage School by the Department of Education of California. It is also a certified examination center offering official French language diplomas and tests, including DELF, DALF, TCF, and DAEFLE. The organization offers a program of cultural and social events, and it welcomes everyone interested in discovering and experiencing French and Francophone culture.
