Summer Dance Camps

Summer Dance Camps includes classes and workshops in ballet technique, creative dance, turns and allegro, jazz, pointe, pre-pointe, variations, and contemporary. Workshops for levels Pre/K through Ballet 3 may also include ballet crafts, stage make-up, and other dance-related activities.

• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Two 2-week sessions from June 15 to July 10, 2026, with classes offered Monday through Friday or on selected weekdays depending on level
• Price: Pre/Kinder Ballet $170–$300, Ballet 1–3 $210–$400, Ballet 4 $290–$510, Ballet 5 and Pre-Professional Ballet 6 & Studio Company $325–$600 per one or two sessions; a non-refundable 25% deposit or full tuition is required, with a 10% Earlybird Discount for tuition paid in full by June 1 and family discounts available

City Ballet offers two 2-week sessions for Summer Dance Camps: Session I from June 15–26, 2026, and Session II from June 29–July 10, 2026. The program is led by Managing Director Jo Anne Emery, Artistic Director Steven Wistrich, and City Ballet School Registrar Cathleen Penyak. City Ballet of San Diego adheres to San Diego County’s Health and Human Services Agency health and safety protocols. A dress code is required for Summer Dance Camps, space is limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and registration forms with full tuition payment must be received before the first class. There will be an Open House on selected days during each session for all levels, and parents and family members are welcome to observe during the final hour on those selected days.
