Excelsior Martial Arts Academy

Excelsior Martial Arts Academy offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), boxing classes, Filipino martial arts, wrestling classes, yoga classes, a kid's program, personal training, group fitness, competitive training, and cross-training opportunities. The academy provides both gi and no-gi training options and offers a free 3-day trial.

Excelsior Martial Arts Academy is a family-run, family-owned gym that is rooted in family values, is proudly women-led and Asian-owned, and describes itself as inclusive and diverse with child-friendly programs. The academy offers cross-training opportunities with affiliated gyms across the Bay Area and is a proud affiliate of JG Academy.

The leadership team is a BJJ couple, Jyn and Martin (JAM), who are referred to as Coach Martin and Coach Jyn in testimonials. Their coaching team includes IBJJF Black Belt World Champions and NCAA competitors, with over 30 years of combined experience working with adults and kids of all ages and backgrounds.
