Tat Wong Kung Fu Academy Kids Kung Fu and Self-Defense Program offers classes and seminars in martial arts, self-defense, and traditional Kung Fu training with step-by-step progression by level. Students practice lion dancing and learn weapons forms such as shaolin staff, tiger-tail sword, and mui-fa spear, and can take special seminars on self-defense applications, performance and competition techniques.

About the provider

Tat Wong Kung Fu Academy was established in 1983. Grandmaster Tat-Mau Wong's stated goal upon moving to the USA was to help people of all ages, nationalities, and athletic abilities benefit from martial arts training. The academy has more than 30 years of experience, and Grand Master Wong was honored at an International Martial Arts event in Malaysia and inducted into their Hall of Fame. Students can participate in parades, martial arts tournaments, performances, Chinese lion dancing, local events, and televised productions. Children's classes are organized by skill level: beginner, intermediate, advanced, and black belt, and teens age 13 or 14 and up normally attend adult classes.
