Tree Frog Treks focuses on exploring nature, meeting animals such as live rescued reptiles and amphibians, doing science, doing art, and spending time outside. Activities include Animal Time with rescued reptiles and amphibians, Wild Science with experiments, art, and journaling, and Free Choice options like Build a Fort, Climb a Tree, Hold a Bug, and Smell the Sea. Kids also make slime, hold reptiles, go on hikes, and look for critters.

Tree Frog Treks states a mission to foster an attachment to and curiosity about the world around children. The program offers award-winning Summer and School Break Camps and follows the credo “Get Out and Get Dirty!” along with the motto “Build a Fort, Climb a Tree, Hold a Bug, and Smell the Sea!” Animal Ambassadors at Tree Frog Treks are rescued lizards, snakes, tortoises, frogs, insects, and spiders that often travel to camps, classes, and festivals, and the program uses a hands-on approach to teaching science.
