About

2B Creative Theater and Art offers theater, art, musical theater, visual arts, performance arts, public speaking, and technical theater activities. The program includes both theater and art camps and musical theater camps, with options for full-day and half-day participation. Sessions are offered as multi-week camps, single-week camps, and single full days of camp.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Options include 2-week Theater & Art sessions June 8–19 and 2-week Musical Theater sessions June 29–July 10, with full-day (9am–4pm) and half-day (9am–12pm or 1pm–4pm) choices, plus single-week full-day camps in June and July and a 1-day camp option.
• Price: 2-week Theater & Art full day is $765; 2-week Theater & Art half day (AM or PM) is $382; 2-week Musical Theater full day is $850; 2-week Musical Theater half day (AM or PM) is $425; single full-day weeks range from $340–$425; 1 full day of camp is $85.

The program is co-founded and led by Ben Brotzman, Theatrical Director and instructor, and Brittnie Brotzman, Artistic Director, administrator, and instructor. Ben Brotzman has over 15 years of experience teaching and managing professional theater in the Bay Area, has taught hundreds of students of all ages, and runs drama and technical theater departments at Saratoga High School and Los Gatos High School. Brittnie Brotzman has over 15 years of experience in the art and entertainment industry creating and mentoring young artists for companies such as Dreamworks, BlueSky, Disney Interactive, Mattel, and Cartoon Network, teaches drama programs and clubs at various Bay Area elementary and middle schools, and is a published children’s book illustrator for “Sule the Proverb Detective - The Case of the Tied up Lion.” Together they bring over 30 years of combined professional experience as instructors for 2B Creative.

2B Creative Theater and Art states a mission of developing and fostering understanding, appreciation, and importance for art and theater in the Bay Area, with a STEM-focused curriculum that combines STEM and art (STEAM). The program offers educational classes, camps, and workshops that include visual arts and performance arts, with an emphasis on public speaking and creative problem solving. The organization states that it is dedicated to training the next generation of creative minds to embrace equality, inclusivity, and diversity, and to providing an environment where students of all levels, comfort abilities, and backgrounds can participate.
