The program’s mission statement is that it does not just teach coding and robotics, but creates learning environments for kids to develop logical thinking, creative exploration, and critical reasoning skills while having fun. The leadership team includes Co-founders Charu Chaturvedi and Paul May, and Educational Director Erica Chodkowski. Instructors are selected from US universities and colleges with tech backgrounds and experience with kids, and they come equipped with strong technical backgrounds and prior work experience with children. Educational Director Erica Chodkowski has a dual masters degree in Elementary and Special Education, Charu Chaturvedi has a BS in chemical engineering, an MBA from Columbia University, and holds two patents, and Paul May has an MBA from Columbia University.

CodeAdvantage highlights an industry-best 7:1 student to teacher ratio, a kid-tested, project-based curriculum with badges and certificates, and a focus on practical application of coding concepts. The program offers scheduling flexibility with small group classes, “My Friends Online” classes, and private tutoring sessions, and provides a turnkey approach to more than 20 interactive coding and robotics classes for schools.
