The instructors at Davenriche European Martial Arts School have over a combined 80 years of experience in a variety of western martial arts. The school’s mission statement is “Look to the Future, while Drawing from the Strengths of the Past.” The program offers loaner equipment for students who do not have their own swords or helmets, and asks students to bring gloves and, if they have them, their own wasters and helmet, and to wear sweats, a t-shirt, and comfortable shoes for both the Four-Hour Longsword Workshop and the Be S.A.F.E. Self Defense class. The school offers a free trial option, with sign-ups available for free trial classes that cannot be combined with other offers, and allows families to move training hours within the month if they miss time because of work, vacation, or sickness. The program also offers airsoft games once a month and is known as the DSOC Killhouse. The leadership contact for the school is Steaphen Fick, who can be reached by phone at 408-216-9351 or by email at [email protected].
