Ballet San Jose School

Ballet San Jose School offers ballet classes for ages 3 to 18+, with Ballet I for ages 3 to 4, Ballet II for ages 5 to 6, Ballet III for ages 7 to 9, Ballet IV for ages 10 to 12, Ballet V for ages 13 to 15, and Ballet VI for ages 16 to 18+. It also offers Adult & Teen Ballet classes for ages 18 and up, including beginner and intermediate/advanced levels. Class times are listed on weekdays and Saturdays.

About the provider

Ballet San Jose School was founded in 2013. Its leadership team includes Maximo Califano, Director & Main Dance Teacher; founder, director, and principal dance teacher; Carlie Cuddihy; and Jacqui Ghodsi. Maximo Califano is a certified American Ballet Theatre (ABT) instructor with over 30 years of experience in dancing and teaching. He also had a 15-year career as a Principal Dancer with Ballet San Jose and holds a degree in Creative Arts from San Jose State University. The school’s mission is to transform students into technically proficient, artistically expressive, and adaptable dancers, while fostering discipline, confidence, creativity, and a deep love for dance. Students have the opportunity to be part of two shows per year: the Nutcracker for the holidays and a full length ballet production in the Spring.
