Discovery Parent-Child Preschool

Discovery Parent-Child Preschool is a cooperative preschool program where children and parents participate together under the supervision of a trained director/teacher. The program follows a balanced curriculum that focuses on social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills, using engaging, play-based methods. Enrollment is closed for the 2025–2026 school year, and families interested in the 2026–2027 school year are directed to the program’s enrollment page.

At Discovery Parent-Child Preschool, the stated mission is to contribute to children’s development by offering enriched play experiences and guidance in social development under the supervision of a trained director/teacher. The mission also includes contributing to parents’ growth by giving them chances to develop concern for guiding children other than their own, to share philosophies and experiences, and to stay aware of child guidance ideals through active participation in the program. The preschool states that it does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, ethnic origin, special needs, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression in its employment, educational, admissions, scholarship and loan, athletic, or other school-administered programs. Families are invited to schedule a tour, stay connected through the preschool’s social media for updates, photos, and events, and contact the membership chairperson about visiting the school to learn more about the teachers, parents, and program.
