About
Max Velocity Prep Track Club offers track and field training that includes running events, hurdles, relays, racewalk, steeplechase, jumps, throws, pole vault, and combined events. The program includes USATF competitions, mental performance coaching, free track and field clinics, and team fundraisers.
• Ages: 7–18 years old
• Schedule: Practice starts in February, the season runs from April to June, and Championship meets take place from late June to August.
• Price: The registration fee covers the uniform, warm up track suit, track meet T-shirt and shorts, USATF membership and insurance, facility training sites, and meet entry fees; the fee does not fully cover the cost to run the club, so all families are required to participate in team fundraisers, and families are directed to the registration pages for specific fees.
The program includes specific running events such as the 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, 800 meters, 1500 meters, and 3000 meters, as well as 80/100/200/400 meter hurdles, 4×100 meter relay, 4×400 meter relay, 4×800 meter relay, 1500m and 3000m racewalk, and the 2k steeplechase. Field events include long jump, triple jump, high jump, discus, javelin, mini javelin, shot put, pole vault, and combined events. Student-athletes are asked to dress in layers, wear comfortable and flexible workout clothing, use running shoes (not basketball or other flat shoes), bring plenty of water and sunscreen, and note that masks are optional.
