Panda Volleyball Club offers volleyball skills development through small group classes and private classes. The program includes competitive volleyball tournaments and Panda Volleyball Summer Clinics. The club is described as a big family, and it is a place for young players to prepare for middle or high school tryouts, with coaches and players discussing together which tournaments to enter and focusing on local competitive tournaments at what they describe as the best rate.
• Schedule: Panda Volleyball Summer Clinics are offered during the summer; during the season, club players have first priority to arrange semi-group or private classes with the coach.

Founder Coach Panda (Yilin Shangguan) is a former player for the China national team, Bayi Women’s Club, and Hebei Province Club, and is a National Games champion, national league champion, and recognized national elite athlete. Coach Panda holds a master’s degree in Physical Education and has over 19 years of coaching experience, including serving as head coach at Eclipse Volleyball Club, Mountain View Volleyball Club, and Monta Vista High School. The club’s mission is to help youth develop volleyball skills and foster physical fitness, to be a place to make new friends and strengthen existing friendships through volleyball, and to cultivate good sports habits. Core values at Panda Volleyball Club include motivating volleyball passion, developing teamwork and communication, and enhancing overall physical fitness. Panda Volleyball Club participates in NCVA Power or Premier Leagues and qualifying tournaments, and notes that players learn time management and how to handle relatively intensive practice. During summer or winter camp, many alumni who have played for Panda’s team before may share their experience and knowledge about playing volleyball.
Panda Volleyball Club lists several recognitions and results: Yanbing as NCVA Player of the Week; Team 13-1 as NCVA Team of the Week; 14-1 winning the 2026 NCVA CA Kickoff 14 Division Championship; 18-1 winning the 2026 Winter Classic 18-Club Division Championship; 15-1 winning 1st place in the 2025 Far Western Qualifier Liberty Division; 12-1 winning 1st place in the 2025 Far Western Qualifier USA Division; and 16-1 placing 2nd in the 2025 Far Western Qualifier Liberty Division.
