About

School & Youth Trips at Winchester Mystery House give students a tour of Sarah Winchester’s home and a historical experience at the estate. During the visit, participants learn about Victorian architecture, Sarah Winchester and her influence on the Santa Clara Valley, and what life and work was like on the estate in the late 1800s. The program is described as a fun and historical youth trip for a school, scout group, or summer camp, and a private group tour is described as the ultimate group bonding experience.

• Ages: 5–18 years old

Over its 101-year history, the Winchester Mystery House has hosted investigators such as Houdini, Sylvia Brown, James Van Praagh, Zak Bagans, and TAPS West Coast. School and youth groups must have a minimum of 20 participants, and discounts are only available for groups of 20 or more. For school and youth trips, a minimum of three weeks’ notice is required to allow for preparation and staffing. This event is in partnership with Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group.
