PROKids Baseball Academy is a baseball camp where kids play real baseball games every day with real umpires. The program also includes professional pitching lessons as part of its specific baseball training activities.

Coach Mark founded PROKids Baseball Academy in 2010, and the program describes itself as established for over 20 years as a baseball camp for kids. The academy states that over 1000 PROKids graduates have gone through its baseball camps. The stated goal of the academy is for youth baseball players to experience and learn the fundamentals of playing competitive baseball while honing their skills in a “No Pressure, Fun Environment,” without having to commit to a single team or an entire season of play.

Staff credentials listed for the academy include: an Owner/Director who is a Professional Hitting Instructor with 13.5 years of professional baseball experience, 8.5 years at the Major League Baseball level, drafted in the 7th round of the 1997 MLB draft by the Texas Rangers, a member of the 1995 College World Series Championship team at Cal State Fullerton, voted Texas Rangers Rookie of the Year in 2000, and a graduate of Bishop Amat High School; a Licensed Strength & Physical Training Instructor who played college baseball at Saddleback College, was a 3-year varsity starter at San Juan Hills High School, has 10 years of professional baseball experience with 4 years at the Major League Baseball level, and was drafted in the 24th round of the 2009 MLB Draft by the Florida Marlins as a shortstop and later converted to a pitcher; a coach who graduated from Cal Berkeley on a baseball scholarship and from Santa Margarita Catholic High School and is currently giving professional pitching lessons; a coach drafted in the 11th round of the 2015 MLB Draft by the Toronto Blue Jays as a right-handed pitcher who attended the University of Southern California on a baseball scholarship, graduated from Dana Hills High School, and is currently recovering from Tommy John surgery.

The academy states that kids are taught every day by top Major League pros and that its coaches are described as world-class pro coaches who teach kids the right way to play baseball. It also states that participants can play with more confidence, self-respect, sportsmanship and fun; increase their all-around baseball skills, health and fitness level; become better team players and learn how to win and lose; become better hitters, fielders, and ball throwers; play real baseball games every day with real umpires; and enjoy making friends at the camps.
