PROKids Baseball Academy offers baseball camps that include playing competitive baseball, hitting instruction, fielding instruction, speed, strength and agility training, and pitching lessons. Campers play real baseball games every day with real umpires as part of the program’s daily activities.

PROKids Baseball Academy was founded in 2010 and states that it has 20 years of experience teaching kids, and that it has been established for over 20 years. The academy describes its goal as giving youth baseball players a chance to experience and learn the fundamentals of playing competitive baseball in a “No Pressure, Fun Environment” without having to commit to a single team or an entire season of play. The organization states that it focuses on being “your greatest” and bringing that to each player’s game, and that coaches and staff are committed to helping every kid become the best athlete and baseball player he can be while also teaching life lessons. The academy states that it emphasizes confidence, self-respect, sportsmanship, fun, health, fitness, becoming a better team player, and learning how to win and lose.

The leadership of PROKids Baseball Academy is headed by Coach Mark, who is the Owner and Founder of PROKids Baseball Academy, the Owner/Director of ProKids Baseball Academy, and the Director of OC Hawks Travel Baseball Club (established 2004). His background includes being part of the CVCS 2014 DIV 6 CIF High School Baseball Championship Team coaching staff, Varsity Head Coach at St. Margaret’s High School in 2005, Varsity Assistant Coach at St. Margaret’s High School from 2006 to 2011, and Varsity/JV Baseball Assistant Coach at Capistrano Valley Christian High School from 2012 to 2017. He has 12 years of PONY Baseball experience, 20 years of Club/Travel Baseball Manager experience for ages 8U–14U, coached the JSerra High School Summer Program in 2005, coached USA 12U and 13U exhibition teams in the Dominican Republic in 2006, and wrote and produced the Big League Baseball Fundamentals Baseball Training Video Series in 2006.

The coaching staff includes coaches described as top Major League pros and world-class pro coaches who teach kids the right way to play baseball. Coach Mike Lamb has 13.5 years of professional baseball experience, including 8.5 years at the Major League Baseball level, was drafted in the 7th round of the 1997 MLB Draft by the Texas Rangers, was a member of the College World Series Championship team at Cal State Fullerton in 1995, was voted Texas Rangers Rookie of the Year in 2000, and graduated from Bishop Amat High School. Coach Casey Przybylak is a licensed strength and physical training instructor, played college baseball at Saddleback College, and was a 3-year varsity starter at San Juan Hills High School. Coach Michael Brady has 10 years of professional baseball experience, including 4 years at the Major League Baseball level, was drafted in the 24th round of the 2009 MLB Draft by the Florida Marlins, was drafted as a shortstop and later converted to a pitcher, graduated from Cal Berkeley on a baseball scholarship, graduated from Santa Margarita Catholic High School, and is currently giving professional pitching lessons. Coach Marrick Crouse was drafted in the 11th round of the 2015 MLB Draft by the Toronto Blue Jays as a right-handed pitcher, attended the University of Southern California on a baseball scholarship, graduated from Dana Hills High School, and is currently recovering from Tommy John surgery.

The academy states that campers are taught every day by top Major League pros and that world-class pro coaches teach kids the right way to play baseball. It also states that over 1000 PROKids graduates have gone through its baseball camps and describes itself as the ultimate baseball camp for kids. Listed team accomplishments include finishing 3rd out of 104 teams at the 2018 12U National Championships, 3rd out of 100 teams at the 2008 12U National Championship, 3rd out of 96 teams at the 2006 10U National Championships, 3rd out of 80 teams at the 2005 10U National Championships, 9th out of 80 teams at the 2004 12U National Championships, and winning the 10U National Championship at Cooperstown in 2002.

Parent and grandparent testimonials describe their experiences with PROKids Baseball Academy. Brad Wiggins, Jeff’s father, states that “PROKids Academy is a great organization that loves helping kids become great baseball players as well as teaching them to be great people in life” and that he is “super happy” his son is a ProKid and looks forward to going to the games and watching him grow. Dr. Benson, Marcus’s father, says he is happy to have found out about the PROKids baseball camps and that for the past two years they have had “the best times being at the games and watching our son and the other boys play baseball and have the time of their lives too.” Tara J., Jason’s mother, says she “never would have imagined” that her son would be in a championship baseball camp and calls it “a great experience” for both her son and herself as a proud parent.
