Saturday Event Clinics

Saturday Event Clinics offer focused gymnastics and movement clinics such as Parkour Clinic, Trampoline & Parkour Clinic, TrickZone (Parkour & Tumbling), Aerial Silks Clinic, and several specialty skills clinics like Bars & Bounce Clinic, Specialty Skills: Handsprings & Aerials, Specialty Skills: Kips & Flips, and Open Play & Gym Jam. Depending on the date, participants may work on activities like tumbling, trampoline, aerial silks, bars, and progressive gymnastics drills and skill training. Saturday Event Clinics are described as a way for kids to get specialized gym time, with options that include building whole-body strength swinging on bars and bouncing on trampolines, and learning trampoline and skill safety for home practice. • Ages: 5–17 years old (Silks Clinic 7-17) • Schedule: All clinics are held 1–3pm • Price: $25/1 child, $10/sibling; members $5 off Performance Athletics Gymnastics states that Saturday Event Clinics include two hours to burn off energy and get lots of turns, with all levels welcome and an emphasis on coordination and body efficiency with individual flair. In Aerial Silks clinics, the program states that participants learn aerial skills that build memory, strength, coordination, confidence, and endurance, and that silks is a way to learn flipping safely. Open Play & Gym Jam is described as one hour of supervised Open Play followed by one hour of Gym Jam. Performance Athletics Gymnastics reports that it offers tumbling, trampoline, aerial silks, preschool gymnastics, recreational gymnastics, competitive gymnastics, sports-readiness and Parkour, along with camps, classes, parties, and special events, and that it has adult programs as well. PA Gym uses a “child-first” approach, valuing personal growth for kids & life-friendly flexibility for busy SLO families. Performance Athletics states that it was founded in 2003 and has been serving the community since that time. The staff maintain credentials in CPR, 1st Aid, Safe Sport, Concussion training, and memberships to various National organizations, currently competing under NGA. Owner Leslie Breeze and her coaching staff have received numerous awards for their personal athletic achievements and have been recognized at the state, regional, and national levels for competitions in artistic gymnastics, cheerleading, tumbling, dance, and/or sports acrobatics.
