Central Coast Culinary

Central Coast Culinary offers cooking classes, kids classes, custom classes, private party cooking classes, and culinary trips. The program also offers catering, private parties, and a Sichuan buffet that is not spicy and is mostly vegetarian with usually about 10 different menu items. Volunteers can help prep and cook as assistants during classes and events.

Debbie takes pride in her culinary education. The program states that it welcomes serious and casual cooks, offers both demonstration-style and hands-on classes, and provides printed recipes, with many classes suggesting that participants bring a container for leftovers. For the Sichuan buffet, participants are instructed to bring their own containers. The program describes itself as more than a culinary school by also offering catering, private parties, custom classes, kids classes, and culinary trips, and notes that each class is unique. It states that clients, students, and volunteers have become part of a large family, and that volunteers are described as the backbone of the cooking school and a unique volunteer family has been created. Volunteers can eat what is left, take food home, and receive the recipes, and the program notes that all staff are usually hired after first volunteering. The Parker Street location was newly remodeled in 2025.
